DEVON TEUSCHER

Devon Teuscher, is an esteemed American ballet dancer, currently holding the position of principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre. Beginning her training at nine years old, she honed her skills at various prestigious institutions including The Kirov Academy of Ballet and the American Ballet Theatre’s Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School. Joining ABT Studio Company in 2006, she swiftly ascended through the ranks, becoming a principal dancer in 2017. Teuscher has received critical acclaim for her performances, notably in roles like Odette/Odile in Swan Lake and Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, praised for her technical prowess and emotive depth. She continues to captivate audiences with her artistry and skill on the ballet stage, and has joined Grace & Form for a series of ballet classes.

Do I need a ballet barre?

All of our ballet barre classes at Grace & Form require something to hold onto, but it doesn't have to be a ballet barre: you can use a chair, kitchen counter or even a light touch on a wall. We provide home-friendly options.

Do I need ballet slippers?

You can wear ballet slippers, or socks. Even the most experienced dancers know how good it feels to have a barre-sock kind of class.
